The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under financing from Multi Donor Trust Funds World has launched Governance & Policy Project, Khyber Pakhlunkhwa (GPP-KP).
Implementation support for the Governance &. Policy Project will be provided by two units:
a Governance Reforms Support Unit: (GRSU) moan Operational Support Unit (OSLT).
GSRU will be responsible for the coordination of policy reforms and OSU will be responsible for project implementation support to all GPP activities.
Applications from highly qualified individuals are solicited for the following positions carrying competitive market based salary package:
1. Tax Policy Economist
PhD in Economics with 3.6 GPA from HEC recognized University.
A minimum of 8 years professional experience with at least 5 years related to economic modeling and research.
Experience relating to tax administration/policy will be an advantage.
Strong report writing skills and ability to effectively communicate findings at high fora including senior level government officials and development partners.
IT proficient (Minimum requirements: Ms office, Ms Excel, Ms PowerPoint, Ms Word & Outlook) Capacity to use key economic analysis software such as STATA. SPSS, etc.
Knowledge of government institutions and working of provincial departments.
Knowledge of the tax regulatory system in the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
Must be fluent (written and oral) in Urdu, Pushto & English.
Fluency in other regional languages will be an advantage.
Analytical capacity and entice thinking skills: attention to details a must.
Ability to supervise staff and work well with others.
Ability to produce quality documents and communications as required.
2. Debt Management Specialist
Master Degree in Finance / Economics I Business Administration from HEC recognized university or CFA/CA.
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in one of the following areas:
• Public debt policy including debt management strategy formulation and implementation;
• Risk management frameworks and financial analysis
• Market knowledge related to development of domestic debt market and functioning of international capital markets;
• Designing Medium Term Debt Management Strategy is preferable.
Previous experience with multilateral development banks and/or development finance institutions is desirable.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to synthesize information clearly for a variety of internal and external stakeholder audiences. Unquestionable integrity and highest ethical standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3 Head of Corporate Governance Regulations & Compliance
An advanced degree (at least Masters or equivalent) in Finance. Business Administration, Corporate Law, or other relevant field from HEC recognized university.
At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in corporate governance.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of best practices related to corporate governance.
Knowledge and experience in private sector.
Previous experience with multilateral development banks and/or development finance institutions is desirable.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to synthesize information clearly for a variety of internal and external stakeholder audiences.
Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively work with teams and clients.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

4 Performance & Monitoring Specialist MBA-Finance/M.Sc.-Finance/CFA/CA from HEC recognized university.
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in relevant field from public sector/private sector or an international organization.
Knowledge and experience in private sector.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to synthesize information clearly fora variety of internal and external stakeholder audiences.
Proficient in the use of MS Office particularly Excel. Word and PowerPoint.
Fluency in both written English and Urdu
5 Learning & Communication Coordinator
Master in public relations, communications. HR or relevant field from HEC recognized university.
At least 5 years of proven working experience in coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting.
Adequate knowledge of learning management systems.
Experience in copywriting and editing is preferable.
MS Office proficiency.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
6 Reforms Coordinator University degree in Public Administration. Law or a related field with 3.6 GPA from HEC recognized University.
A minimum of 5 years professional experience preferably in Government Administration, with at least 1 year related tax administration.
Good written and verbal facility in English to effectively communicate at high fora including senior level government officials and development partners.
IT proficient (Minimum requirements: Ms office. Ms Excel. Ms PowerPoint, Ms Word & Outlook) Knowledge of government institutions and working of provincial departments.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to produce quality documents and communications as required.
7 Research Analyst Master in Economics or a related field with X.X GPA from HEC recognized University.
A minimum of 5 years professional experience with at least 1 year related to economic modeling and research.
Strong report writing skills and ability to effectively communicate findings at high forums including senior level government officials and development partners.
IT proficient (Minimum requirements: Ms office, Ms Excel, Ms PowerPoint, Ms Word & Outlook). Knowledge of government institutions and working of provincial departments.
Must be fluent (written and oral) in Urdu, Pushto & English, Fluency in other regional languages will be an advantage.

8 Research & Data Analyst Master from HEC recognized university.
At least 3 years of experience in research or data analysis.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize. analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Fluency in both written English and Urdu,
Good command on MS Office is essential.
9 Financial Analyst Master Degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration from HEC recognized university or CFA/CA.
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in debt management. risk management or financial analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect. organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Fluency in both written English and Urdu.
Good command on MS Office, particularly Excel is essential.
